Exclamation Shaikh Ahmad Bazmool: The one who speaks against Shaikh Rabee' has spoken against the Sunnah

Bismillaah Al-Hamdulillaah wa salatu wa salaamu 'ala rasulullaah
    Amma-ba'd

Shaikh Ahmad Bazmool: If anyone makes a statement against Shaikh Rabee' [then] he has removed himself from Salafiyyah in totality

Shaikh Ahmad Bazmool (hafidhahullaah) said: "For the one to make a statement against Shaikh Rabee' [bin Hadee al-Madkhalee] is foolishness. Rather, if anyone makes a statement against Shaikh Rabee' [then] he has removed himself from Salafiyyah in totality...

Just like the people used to say in the time of Imam Ahmad, who was a man known as Imaam of Ahlus-Sunnah... if one made a statement against him, he was looked at as not being one of the people of the Sunnah [but] as being one of the people of desires...

Was it because Imam Ahmad was seen to be the Sunnah himself? No, of course not! But he (Imam Ahmad) was looked at as one who was a carrier of the Sunnah... He was looked (at) as someone who was a defender of the Sunnah.

So when we find the likes of so and so saying something against Shaikh Rabee', then the case is the same as someone saying something against Imam Ahmad. Because Shaikh Rabee' is known for defending the Sunnah..."

NOTE FROM ADMIN: The statement narrated and translated from Shaykh Bazmul is in accordance with the principle that "whoever attacks the carrier of the message is in fact intending the message itself" and it is from this angle that is said that the Raafidah, by attacking the Sahaabah, actually intend to attack the religion of Islaam, and whatever is similar to that. Similarly, those who attack the great Scholars of the Sunnah and the Salafi Manhaj, such as Shaykh Ibn Baz, Shaykh al-Albani, and Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen, indeed they intend to attack the Sunan and the Usool of the Salafi manhaj that do not agree with their desires. In a like fashion, those who attack and wage war against Shaykhh Rabee' it is not because of his person, but rather because of his message, in that he defended the methodology of the Prophets in calling to Allaah, defended the aqeedah of Islaam, and defended the usool of the Salafi manhaj. Hence, those who speak against the Shaykh are in reality speaking against what he is carrying and defending, these are the ones intended in Shaykh Bazmul's statement above. As for any person besides the Messenger (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) being subject to criticism for being in error in a religious matter, then there is no one who is infallible but the Messenger (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) and from that angle, all of the Mashaayikh of Ahl al-Sunnah, and their Imaams, they can be subject to criticism, and this is an established principle with the people of truth, and the one who directs criticism to another, from this perspective, on account of a slip and mistake, then such a person cannot be said to have left the Sunnah and Salafiyyah because of that in and of it itself. End Note.

The Messenger of Allaah (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said: Love for the Ansaar is a sign of Eeman, and hatred for the Ansaar is a sign of hypocrisy. [al-Bukhaaree (no. 17, 3573), Muslim (no. 74)]

Shaikh 'Ubaid al-Jaabiree (hafidhahullaah) said: "That in the condition of the fitan (trials) that have stormed through the people and agitated them, in such times, the early ones from the imams used to test the people who came to them from the various lands. So if they praised the 'ulemma (scholars) and the elite from Ahlus-Sunnah amongst them, they would bring them close. And if they spoke ill of them, then they would distance them. And from their statements concerning that is: Imtahinu Ahlul Madinati bi Malik, wa imtahinu Ahlul Shami bil Awza'ee, wa imtahinu Ahla Misr bi Layth ibni Sa'd, wa imtahinu Ahlul Kufa bi Sufyan, wa imtahinu Ahlul Mawsili bi Mu'afa ibn 'Imran. (Test the people of Madinah with Malik, and test the people of Shaam with Awza'ee, and test the people of Egypt with al-Layth ibni Sa'd, and test the people of Kufa with Sufyan, and test the people of Mawsili with al-Mu'afa ibn 'Imran.)" Student of knowledge Abu Hafsa Kashif Khan (hafidhahullaah) relayed the following: "Al Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal (rahimahullaah ta'aala) said in the introduction of his book Ar-Rad 'alal Jahmiyyah (The Refutation upon the Jahmiyyah): 'All praise is for Allaah, Who leaves a group after the Messengers from amongst the people of knowledge who negate the changes, distortions of those who go to the extreme. And the changes of those who are ignorant. [This group] is those who call people from misguidance to guidance, and are patient upon harm. How many are they who have gone astray whom they helped bring back to guidance? How many are those [whose eeman] have been killed by Iblees whom they have helped give life to again? How beautiful is their effect upon the people, and how ugly is the effect of the people upon them?' "

Slandering the righteous scholars of the Sunnah is one of the distinguishing signs of Ahlul-Bid'ah wal-Ahwaa`, and the hypocrites from amongst them. Click here and here for more on that.

Another righteous scholar that Ahlul-Bid'ah targets for its wicked slanders is Shaikh Muhammad ibn 'Abdul-Wahhaab (rahimahullaah).

As for the Shaikh Muhammad ibn 'Abdul-Wahhaab (rahimahullaah), then he was not the founder of Salafiyah or any group or sect or movement, as the genuine scholars have exhaustingly explained and proven. Two centuries ago, many in the Arabian Peninsula were mired in shirk and bid'ah, just as the Prophet (salallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) foretold: The Hour will not be established until a large portion of my Ummah will worship idols (worship other than Allaah).

Upon observing many people in the Arabian Peninsula acting in opposition to what Allaah revealed to Prophet Muhammad (salallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) due to their grave-worshipping, adoption of superstitious beliefs, and committing bid'ah, Shaikh Muhammad ibn 'Abdul-Wahhaab simply called these people back to Tawheed, back to the Qur`an and authentic Sunnah (upon the correct understanding) without adding anything or taking anything away from Allaah's Religion. Allaah put blessing in this shaikh's call, and Allaah guided [and is guiding] many people by his call. [May Allaah continue to guide many by his call until the Sun rises from the West. Ameen.]

So, of course, the people of desires and deviance slandered this scholar when in fact he quoted to them nothing but Allaah's ayat and the Prophet's ahadith - verbatim - saying to them "Allaah said", "His Messenger said", "the companions said." No opinions, no additions, no desires, no deletions. [There are many accounts proving this, and anyone who has read any of the shaikh's beneficial books will attest to the abundance of proofs he mentions.]

In truth, Shaikh Muhammad ibn 'Abdul-Wahhab was a reviver - he did not bring anything new - he simply revived what Allaah revealed to Prophet Muhammad, what shaytan had fooled many into opposing [the Qur`an and authentic, pure Sunnah]. This was in accordance to what the noble Prophet (salallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said in his statement: Indeed Allaah raises up from this ummah at the beginning of every century someone who will revive it for them (i.e. a mujaddid {a reviver}).

Sadly, some of the people who oppose Shaikh Muhammad ibn 'Abdul-Wahhab today, it is feared that they oppose what Allaah sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (salallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam). [And refuge in Allaah is sought from this!] These people know they cannot openly declare opposition to Allaah and His Messenger, or people will leave them, and their deviance will become obvious even to the ignorant. So these people slander this shaikh (may Allaah have mercy on him and reward him Jannat al-Firdaous) to fool the ignorant and keep them away from learning and prioritizing Tawheed, and correcting their 'aqidah. And of course, prioritizing Tawheed was the da'wah of all the Messengers ('alaihim u salaam).

Subhanak Allaahuma wa bihamdika ash-hadu anlaa illaaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk

If I said anything correct, then it is from Allaah (subhanahu wa taa'ala), and if I erred, then that is from me and shaytan.
