"An advice to young Muslim girls growing up in British Society - 'Women of the Past, Women of the Present!"

Friday 23rd December


1-6:00 Open Arts & Craft Session.

Kids of all ages freelancing to choose from a variety of creative activities: making play dough hats, bags, collages, together with other activities.
Parents are free to accompany younger kids (1 adult per child please)

Saturday 24th December


a) 1-2:30 Arts & Crafts
The parts of a plant and the role of the flower in pollination.
Looking at time lapse videos of blossoming flowers, appreciate the variety of flowers in Allaah’s creation.
Value the complex symbiosis between flowers and insects. Make a 3-D plant and flower.

b) 3-4:30 Baking
Earth’s Geology: Volcanoes & Lava - Our Earth isn’t as stable as it seems.
Understand the complex nature of the layers of the Earth.
Examine rocks formed because of the dynamics of these layers.
Complete the session by baking chocolate lava puddings.

c) 5-6:30 Textiles
Classify materials, and understand different fabric types and their origins.
Design and make fabric bags decorated with sequins & embroidery.

d) 7-8:30 Crafts
Eat from that which is good- appreciate the variety of food that Allaah has blessed us with.
Look at different exotic fruits, and then design & make fruit pencil holders from clay.




Sunday 25th December


a) 1-2:30 Crafts
The Amazing skeleton.
Learn about the different bones of the human body- examining 3-D skulls and assembling model skeletons.
Using Modroc, make a skeleton hand.

b) 3-4:30 Cookery
Planet ice: Baked Icebergs- A paradox
Explore the extreme climates of the Earth and its landscape.
Understand the science behind icebergs before making some to take away.

c) 5-6:30 Crafts
The origins of mosaics.
Appreciate some of the intricate designs from around the world which use this technique.
Make your own craft mirror using Mosaic tiles.

d) 7-8:30 Crafts
Learn about the different types of Earth and their uses.
Appreciate the importance of clay throughout time as an essential material, and understand its important qualities.
Make trinkets using clay.

This Conference is in reality a "Dawrah 'Ilmiyyah" - A knowledge based series of lectures that will raise your level of knowledge, inshaa'Allaah. We strongly advise that you bring writing pads and pens; that you prepare yourself for seeking knowledge. Your concentration, punctuality and keenness will be important this weekend!

FRIDAY

- Begin with Jumu'ah Khutbah at 12.15pm "Tawheed will bring Success"

- 5.30pm: "Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee live Telelink: Who are the True Ahlul-Hadeeth"

- 6.30pm: Abu Khadeejah "Principles Regarding Takfeer and Tafseeq" Part 1. Taken from the book of Allaamah Ibn Uthaimeen: "al-Qawaa'id al-Muthlaa fi Sifaatillaahi wa Asmaa'ihil-Husnaa" - with quotes from Shaikhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah. This topic deals with the delicate yet weighty affair of declaring Muslims to be Unbelievers or Rebellious Sinners. Bring your note pads and pens to gain some serious benefits from the words of Ibn Uthaimeen (rahimahullaah)!

- 7.30pm: Break for half an hour with Questions and Answers.

12.45pm: Abu Iyaad Amjad Rafiq "The Seeing of Allaah: The belief of Ahlus-Sunnah and the belief of the People of Kalaam (the Innovators)" Part 1. The Ru'yah of Allaah Between Ahl al-Sunnah and Ahl al-Kalaam (Ahl al-Bid'ah). This topic is extremely important and gets to the crux of the dispute between the Aqeedatus-Salafiyyah and those that oppose the sound path of the Sahaabah and those who follow them precisely. Principles will be discussed and benefits derived. Make sure you write down the benefits.

2pm: Abu Khadeejah: "Allaah is WITH His Creation and ABOVE His Creation" Part 1. A Discussion on the Subject of the Ma'iyyah of Allaah, the Most High. Taken from the book of Allaamah Ibn Uthaimeen (rahimahullaah): "Al-Qawaa'id al-Muthlaa fi Sifaatillaahi wa Asmaa'ihil-Husnaa" - with quotes and benefits from the Imaams of the Sunnah. This topic revolves around the topic of Allaah being "with" His creation in a real sense whilst still being distinct and high above them in a real sense. A corrupt understanding of this subject matter led many sects to misguidance and even kufr. Important principles need to written down so you can truly benefit and understand.

3.30pm: "Telelink with Allaamah Zaid al-Madkhalee: Remaining Steadfast upon the Sunnah"

4.45pm: Abu Hakeem Bilaal Davis: "Benefits in Manhaj from the Tafseer of Ibn Katheer (rahhimahullaah)" Part 1. This will be an excellent insight into the understanding of this great Imaam who gathered the sayings of the Salaf regarding the understanding of the Book of Allaah. Note pads and pens!

7pm till late: Shaikh Falaah bin Isma'eel al-Mandikaar (inshaa'Allaah): "Importance of Steadfastness upon Salafiyyah - and not being Deceived by the Callers to Bid'ah" Part 1. This lecture of course will be translated into English. Please make sure you write down quotes and principles - have a spare note pad ready!

Subhan Allah what a Blessing to have a chance to hear so many of the Ulema in just a period of three days! Especially Shiekh Falaah who came even though he had surgery. May Allah have Mercy on him, Raise his rank and give him a quick recovery. Will he still be giving a lecture today?

May Allah unite all the Muslims upon the correct understanding of Islam. Which is Quran and sunnah upon the understanding of the salaaf.

May Allaah reward all those who aided in making this conference such a success, and all praise is due to Allaah. Masjid as-Salafi was packed beyond capacity with people from all over the UK and many guests from Europe (Holland, France, Belgium..). May Allaah increase this love and brotherhood that we witnessed.

Our noble Shaykh, Falaah ibn Isma'eel al Mundikaar haafidhahullaah delivered his lectures having left hospital a few days earlier (whilst sat in his wheelchair and his leg still in a cast), there are many lessons that can be derived from the Shaykh's character and eagerness to benefit the people, always trying to utilise his time with beneficial knowledge.

The lectures by our mashaykh, Shaykh Ubayd al Jaabiree, Shaykh Zayd al Madkhali, Shaykh Muhammad bin Haadee, haafidhahumullaah, were listened to attentively by all the attendees.

The du'aat delivered some very beneficial lectures covering various topics, haafidhahumullaah, some of them having to translate (for the Mashaykh) and prepare/deliver their own lectures also.

Many people do not realise the hard work that is put in by many volunteers during these events, so after praising and thanking Allaah the Most High, thanking our noble mashaykh and du'aat, we would like to thank all our brothers and sisters, those who helped with:
The stewarding/security (a 24 hour job, covering 3 days!).
The brothers who aided in the sound maintenance/Paltalk/WizIq.
The brothers/sisters who worked upon the stalls.
The brothers/sisters who worked and helped in the Bookstore.
The sisters who gave up their time to provide Tarbiyyah and Kids' Clubs in order to benefit the younger children.
The brothers/sisters who helped maintain the Masjid/School during the conference, there was a major clean up operation post-conference, the Masjid and School were left spotless due to the hard work put in by those involved mashaa Allaah. Some brothers even cleaned the road/street outside the Masjid, jazaahumullaahu khair.

May Allaah increase us all in beneficial knowledge and righteous actions.

* Shyakh Zayd al Madkhali: We had a problem with the connection/recording of the Shaykh's lesson, if we manage to get a clear copy from those who were present with the Shaykh, we will add it to SalafiAudio.com inshaa Allaah
