Here's a quick reminder of the Hadeeth of the Messenger of Allaah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam in Saheeh Muslim:

مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ ثُمَّ أَتْبَعَهُ سِتًّا مِنْ شَوَّالٍ كَانَ كَصِيَامِ الدَّهْرِ

"Anyone who fasts Ramadan and then follows it with six days of Shawwaal it is as if he fasted the whole year."

There are just about 6 days left till the end of Shawwaal.
