    Ibn taymiyyah: Was he really named after his great grandmother

    As Salamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatulaahi Wa Barakatuhu

    Bismilaah:

    Does anybody know where I can find out whether or not the great Scholar Ibn Taymiyyah was named after his grandmother? If anybody could please shed some light on this, I would be very grateful.
