    What is ruling about the second friday (jum'a) prayer?

    Assalyamu'aleikum wa rahmatuLlahi

    Can someone explain a permissibility of the second friday prayer? When I came to the USA, I was little bit surprised about performing the second prayer after first one.

    What is the opinion of scholars about this issue according to the Quran and Sunnah of His messenger (sallaLLahu 'aleihi wa sallyam)?
